Civilian Military Attorneys for Navy SEALs
Press Release: The three Navy SEALs charged with hitting a detainee, a detainee who allegedly is responsible for the deaths and mutilation of four Blackwater Contractors in Fallujah in 2004, begin their courts-martial process next week. On December 7, 2009, the military will hold an initial hearing, an arraignment of SO2 Matthew McCabe. SO2 McCabe is charged with hitting a detainee. Each of the three SEALs is represented by a different law firm. The names of the accused SEALs and the firms representing them are below:

I’m tired of American turning itself into a pretzel to pacify all our enemies political correctness. I don’t believe in torture: if we want our soldiers treated according to the Geneva Convention, we must live by it. However, these terrorists live only to torture and kill anyone does not believe and live as they do. They have no conscience in killing innocent babies, children, mothers, men with suicide bombs, etc.
Why the heck are we allowing the terrorists to have civil trials when they committed acts of war on our country? They are not even citizens.
Yet we treat our military doing their job as criminals and they get only military courts?

As a member of the Special Operations Association and one who has completed multiple missions in Laos & Cambodia I know the risk these brave sailors took to complete their mission. They should be receiving accolades and medals for valor; not being railroaded by our own government.
They knew full well what would have happened had their mission failed and they were caught. Does anyone doubt they would have been tortured beyond human endurance? Does anyone doubt they would have been murdered? Yet they undertook the mission and completed it with professionalism.
Their immediate chain of command should be ashamed of themselves. That we now have JAG officers advising field commanders only goes to show how perverted today’s officer corps has become. The immediate commander and the JAG officer responsible for bringing charges against these men, especially when there is absolutely no evidence of wrong doing, should be charged with dereliction of duty, failure to command, lack of leadership and whatever other charges are available for being a weenie! The JAG Officer should be dishonorably discharged and permanently disbarred.
This entire episode makes me sick and ashamed to call myself an American.

This is OUTRAGEOUS!!! The brave men and women that put their lives on the line every single day (they are a VOLUNTEER ARMY) to defend our freedoms and keep us safe are being treated like criminals with no rights, while the terrorists have rights?????
Are you kidding me????? Screw political correctness!!! This is the biggest load of BS I’ve heard of in a long time. There should be NO hearings at all, and NO court-martial process should take place. If the hearing and court-martial proceedings continue forward, THAT is the atrocity!
